9 Zebra Care: What is Fascia Anyway? The Deep Front Line, the Wave of Breath and Accessory Nerve

$30.00

A friend in our community shared they'd like to breathe better in their ribs. So this lesson introduces the Deep Front Line of facia, which Thomas Myers says "relates the wave of breathing to the rhythm of walking." Deep front line invites us to connect into the central core of our body, through powerful hubs of information. Clarity in the deep front line reveals inner stability and ease in body, breath and mind. Deep front line includes some of the muscles innervated by our Accessory Nerve, CN XI, aka cranial nerve eleven. CN XI is one of our cranial nerves of social engagement. Of course, fascia and nerves don't work alone, so we'll show some love to our muscles. And gratitude for the interconnected and resilient systems within that can learn to adapt, respond flexibly, and return to a state of grace. Props include: tennis ball or similar sphere, wall space, chair, block, theraband/leggings or something elastic, bolster.
