7 Zebra Care: The Eight Limbs of Yoga, The Limbic System and The Vagus Nerve

$30.00

Lots of pieces come together in this lesson, beginning with bit of philosophy introducing the Eight Limbs of Yoga. We also explore what the limbic system has to do with our lived experience, and get a glimpse at one of our stress-circuits, the HPA-Axis (hypothalamus, pituitary, adrenal). This brings us back to the Vagus Nerve, and kicks off the beginning of our exploration of the Five Cranial Nerves of Social Engagement. Practice today has a component that may be done standing with a block or seated with a block or small folded blanket. There is also a second section done lying prone with a bolster (or folded blanket or beach towel) and a soft blanket for your head. This may also be done seated with a prop either behind or in front of your spine.
