Winter Solstice Mala: Reflect, Attune and Intend

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 21st

Winter Solstice Mala

8:00 - 10:00 AM
Join us for the Winter Solstice. A Yoga Mala is a practice of 108 Sun Salutations traditionally performed at times of change. The rhythmic repetition of movement and breath creates an auspicious state to deepen connection to innate wisdom and become open to new possibilities.

This practice includes:

  • 12 sets of Sun Salutations as a retrospective of the past calendar year. Carry forward what serves. Release limiting, untrue or outdated beliefs.
  • A sweet Somatic cool down to reduce sore hamstrings in the New Year.
  • Sankalpa meditation to attune to one’s heartfelt desire.
  • Quiet integration in restorative Savasana.

This is an active and transformative class. We encourage you to practice with curiosity and compassion. It is NOT required to complete all 108 repetitions. Modifications/props will be offered throughout. Perfect for people looking for a healthy and meaningful way to move into the new season with discernment.

Suzanne Larsen is an Experienced Yoga Teacher and has advanced training in Yoga Therapy, and also serves as the director of the non-profit Main Street Yoga-Stoughton. She offers creative and mindful classes, and this event will offer the perfect heat to keep you warm at the start of Winter.
