Introduction to Therapeutic Yoga

3-Week Series on Tuesday Evenings

May 23, May 30 and June 6

7:00 PM - 8:15 PM

Instructor Suzanne Larsen, E-RYT 500, Yoga Therapist

Yoga lineages and Western modalities come together in this offering of SomaYoga, a therapeutic yoga practice. Somatics works by releasing patterns of dysfunction in the body-mind complex with neuromuscular education, Restorative Breath refines your habitual breathing patterns for more efficient breathing, and therapeutic application of Classic Asana allows you to enter yoga postures with ease.

During this 3-week series, you will explore (and feel) the benefits of therapeutic yoga and learn more about:

  • Somatics
  • Restorative Breath
  • Classic Asana

These sessions are for adults and seniors looking for gentle somatic movement and breath focused practice. SomaYoga uses props for added comfort and works to relieve tension and build strength in connection. These 3-week clinics are great if you want to improve your focus, balance, and general wellbeing by developing an intentional connection between body, breath, and mind.
